Dialogs (User Interface)

page previews each dialog that is a part of your setup. You may also change your setup theme, hide particular dialogs, or launch thePreviewing Dialogs
To preview dialogs, click the dialog name underneath the
heading. A preview of the dialog appears under the region.Hiding Dialogs
While you cannot change the ordering of the dialog display sequence, or add new dialogs to the display sequence, you may hide dialogs that are part of the sequence. Hidden dialogs will not be shown at runtime and be skipped.
To hide a dialog, simply uncheck its listing under the
heading. To show that dialog again, re-check its listing.Making more sophisticated changes (such as adding new dialogs, changing the order of display) requires updating the setup script.
Editing Dialogs
To edit a dialog:
- Select it under the heading.
- Click the button.
- The dialog editor opens with the selected dialog and you may make customizations as necessary.
Changing Themes
To change your setup theme:
- Click the button.
- From the drop-down, select a new theme.
- A graphical and textual preview of the new theme shows. To try each individual dialog in the theme, click the button.
- Choose to apply the new theme.
InstallAware features 14 unique setup themes, however not all may have been installed depending on your setup choices. To install more setup themes, simply re-run the InstallAware setup program, and add the new themes using the
setup option.Changing a theme will overwrite any customizations you may have made to your existing dialogs.
