Set Component Choice

This command determines whether it is possible for the end-user to select or deselect a component previously defined by the Define Component command.

Component Name

Type the name of the component here, including its full path as originally used in the Define Component command.

Allow user to select/deselect component

To allow the end-user to select or deselect the component, check this box. Otherwise, clear this box.

 Notes

• When used to disable user interaction, this command does not prevent you from toggling the selection state of components in the setup script using the Set Component State command. It only prevents end-user interaction with the component from changing the selection state of a component.
• Children of a component that has been disabled from end-user interaction are also automatically excluded from end-user interaction. Parents of a component that has been disabled from end-user interaction are not affected.
