On installing my application, at the very end of the
process a checkbox appears "Launch Progam Now"
which is already checked. One would expect the app
to run on continuing, but it does not. The icon is
on the Desktop though and the user can to launch
with the desktop icon. Any thoughts?

Switch to the MSICode view and at the very bottom of the script read the code after Display Dialog: finish, wait for dialog to return (modal)
