Help - Installer Error received

Hello;
I am testing Installaware for possible purchase. I'm upgrading from Wise for Windows which doesn't work for my application.

I posted a message in the Pre-Sales help and Candice said I should post it here instead.

I have a big challenge for you. I am really hoping that Installaware can handle it because I need to get an install built but several other installers I've evaluated just won't work.

I am not trying to do anything fancy but am simply trying to install my application which has the following specs ... Total size of Application = 2.12 GB, Tital number of files = 157,198, Total number of folders = 5, 769. The reason the install is so large is because I'm releasing a portion of the Mars Terrain to work with a program that is also being installed.

During Install, I get a message "Computing Space Requirements" which stays on the screen for quite a while (Perhaps 5-10 minutes which seems long) then I receive the error message "Error - The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with the package. The Error Code is 2709."

Hope there's a logical explanation that can get me going again because I need to locate an installer that will work ... and quickly. I'll buy your package once I get a good install from it that is completely reliable and works 99.9% of the time. Thanks.

Hello All;
Can anyone help me out ? I need to find an installer that works as fast as possible and then I'll purchase it.

Does anyone know what Error Code 2709 is ? I can't find any error codes in the manual.

And can someone tell me if Installaware should be able to handle the total size, number of files, and number of folders that I'm trying to create an installer from ? Has anyone tried a similar challenging task like this before ?

Do I need to set anything special or write a special script to make Installaware handle this many files/folders ?
