InstallAware 2005 Second Edition Minor Update 2

Postby sinan » Wed Sep 28, 2005 3:11 am

Changes in the minor update:

    1) The IDE can now load and display projects containing tens of thousands of lines of code very rapidly. You may end up with such very large projects after running PackageAware, or the new upcoming MSI Import Wizard.
    2) The SQL Plug-Ins may now reference external script files, instead of having to bundle SQL scripts within the setup script itself. This improves performance for very large SQL scripts, again containing tens of thousands of lines. It also adds flexibility when running SQL scripts.
    3) The scheduling for the Control Service action was not taking effect (the command execution did not follow the in-script conditional execution path). This was a bug and has been fixed.
    4) The new Swoosh dialog theme is now included with the base product.

If you are affected by any of the above issues, please reinstall the latest version from the public website (and regenerate+reinstall your license if you have one). If you are not affected by any of the above, you may safely ignore this update.

My apologies, it does not - this is scheduled for the next update.
