Cannot get InstallAware MSIcode debugging in IDE

Now I see why you are not able to debug. Take a look at step two of your image and see step two in mine and you'll see what you're doing wrong.

Hi Alex,

Yes, when I build in "CD" mode, the debugger seems to work ok (I had been building in "Single File" mode with the "debug" flag set).

Might I ask if you (Installaware) consider this a "bug", or "user error"?

It's clear on the documentation also that debugging is only supported on Uncompressed Layout

It's just that you need to have the right build on the build settings for it to create the debug build. Also, you need to build it by clicking the build icon at the top. Attached is an image showing you what you need to do.
