Patch and Uninstall

I have created an install package verision 7.0.0.855

Now I have created a patch, version 7.0.0.863

When I run the patch, my application is updated correctly alghough when I have a look in the registry, it's a bit messed up.

A few DLL's have become a different GUID and after running the patch, both GUID's are in the registry.

After an uninstall via Add/Remove software, the DLL's that have a different GUID, different from the base install package are left on the system and need to be manully removed.

Is there a way to prevent this? Or conflicts changing GUID's of DLL with the definition of a patch (so I create a patch, that is not realy a patch).

Please help.
