Uninstall - Unable to Terminate Application Running

When I run the Uninstall I am not able to get my Application Terminated. My application sits in the System Tray. I am using the below code.

Set Persistent Variable PROCESS_MYAPP to MyApp.exe

Check for Process "$PROCESS_MYAPP$", get result into variable RUNNING
if Variable RUNNING Equals TRUE
Terminate Program $PROCESS_MYAPP$
end


The RUNNING does Equal to TRUE (I debuged to make sure) but it never terminates the program and the Uninstaller gives error.

Is it because my application runs in the System Tray and does not have a Window open at the time? Any workarounds or ideas?

ps: I have tried this with Vista 64 bit and Windows XP Professional 32 bit. Running as Administrator on both Operating Systems.
