Copy script local to installation

Postby bernaert » Sun Dec 18, 2005 4:08 pm

Hello,
I'm creating several installations using the SQL Server 2005 script for detection and installation.
The problem that I'm having is that I have multiple installations using different settings for the detection and the installation. For instance installation 1 requires an instance A and installation 2 requires an instance B.
The scripts are public to all the installations so I have to change the settings each time I want to build a new install after I have worked in another installation.
Can these scripts be copied locally to the project?

Dominique.

Absolutely. Copy the script files to your project folder (<runtimename>.mia.*), then in the Project Manager view, remove the existing script, and then add the new copy: right-click the Include Scripts node and choose the "Remove Scripts" and "Add Scripts" context menus.
