That actually might be affecting it. Could you please try disabled these and testing again?

I can't ask customers to disable their anti-virus when they install my software.
When the installation isn't working the first time, they probably will start looking for some other software package.

I believe Installaware should make sure anti-virus products won't mark the installer as potential harmfull. Or for whatever other reason mess-up the installation.
After all it is going wrong with a download of a build of SQL Server 2008 R2.
What can Installaware do about this?
Is there anything I can do to bypass this problem?

We have the same problem, our customer have broken download with Nod32 or Kaspersky...
This is a real problem for us, we are loosing customers because of this...
Do you know when the IA download will be white listed for some anti virus ?

Dear Guys,

We tried multiple times to get whitelisted with them; each unsuccessful. Despite all our efforts we were never able to get in work with The companies in question.

Probably you could try as customers for these antivirus products, to directly contact the companies, asking to whitelist your individual products. This may eventually filter down to InstallAware itself, one would hope.

I realize that this does not help you much ... but we really have tried everything.
