Uninstall generates 2343 error

Hi!

I have been trying to figure out why I keep getting a 2343 Windows error when doing an uninstall. I've used the debugger and think the problem is with installing a directory that uses a variable that is not $TARGETDIR$.

For example, I have:
Install Files D:\Bin\*.* to $TARGETDIR$\Bin, include subfolders
Install Files D:\Client\*.* to $CLIENTDIR$, include subfolders

Apply Install (get result into variable SUCCESS)

This generates the 2343 error on uninstall. If I comment out the $CLIENTDIR$ file install, I do not receive an error.

Is there a recommended workaround for this issue? Any assistance is appreciated.

Are you making any changes to that folder between installing and removing the program?

Thank you for your response. I commented out everything after the $CLIENTDIR$ install line so that I could narrow down the problem so I do nothing with the files following the installation. I did add a watch on that variable and it is populated correctly before Apply Install is called. The files are installed successfully but when I uninstall, I get the 2343 error. The funny thing is all the files get removed anyway.
