if variable failes with installaware 15

while editing a install script i noticed a bad behaviour.
Suddenly (i do not remember what the last action was) all "if variable" statemens failed. Even If the condition was true, the allways skip the code for the if case, so as if the condition where wrong.
If I copy and paste the "if variable" statement, the error remains.
If I retype the "if variable" statemen, it works correct.
Also if statements inserted automatically (as "if VAriable MAINTENANCE Equals TRUE") failed.

Waht did I wrong and how to repaair this (without retyping all if statements) ?

Honestly by your information, it is not so easy to find out what really happen.
I can only suppose that for some unknow reasons, those "if variable" statements are probably corrupted.

Could you please post with you reply (using InstallAware Clipboard format), a sample of the failing "if variable" statement and another one, for the one you found working?
