Determine Application Data path

Hello,

for detecting the Applicationdata value we use the IA function Get Common Folder Location System->Application Data Directory. But sometimes this function just returns an empty value. As a fallback we try to get it directly from the registry at SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Shell Folders\Common AppData. But on some user machines this registry value is also set wrong.

Is there maybe another possibilty to determine this value?

which InstallAware are you using?

If your version is InstallAware 15 please update it with the new realease available.
Very probably what you found has been fixed with by the new 15.23 update.
