Re: wait until (un)install msi command has finished
Dear support, dear all,
i have the same problem with msi files generated by InstallAware Studio 15.
I start the setup.msi at a dos windows:
1) setup.msi
=> I get the prompt at once
2) start /wait msiexec.exe /i setup.msi
=> I get the prompt after answering the question from "User Account Control" dialog.
I want the get the prompt (= control) AFTER the setup.msi run is finished.
Are there any fixes or work-arounds please?
Thanks
El Ji

Dear El Ji,
What you are reporting is related to a different question.
unfortunately, (...instead) this is a know issue and currently, it doesn't exist a possible workaround to use in your case.
