Error During Installation: File Not Found

Have a look at the attached image. This issue cropped up in some of the Windows8 machines that our clients tried to install our product at. The installer never had any issues of this sort in the past. We recently upgraded to IA18 (Build 7.1.14). Could this be a glitch in the new version of IA?

Dear User,

please verify that doesn't exist any active security policy with that target machine or if the extracted file doesn't get removed/deleted by an active antivirus.

In one of our client's machines it turned out that the issue was being caused by an antivirus (bit-defender). This is extremely strange since the installation of our product was a breeze before we updated to IA18. We are in the process of troubleshooting this issue by checking if the previous versions of our product keep installing fine under the current state of affairs in our client's machines. If they do not install like they used to then the issue will probably be caused by an update to the antivirus and not due to our updating of IA18. If the previous version of our product installs just fine however then I'm afraid that we will be completely in the dark. We've contacted the company that has produced the antivirus in question but I'm afraid it will take time before the updates are pushed to the ecosystem out there. This is bound to hurt.

Quick Update: It turned out that this particular AV (Bit-Defender) causes similar problems with previous versions of our product, which were packaged by an earlier version of IA18.

unfortunately AV applications are becoming a very big problem.

We always inform all the AV vendors about our products, but some of them are not very collaborative.
