Glad to hear Code Signing Hooks are working out for you!

With globalsign, buying a cert for a year seems to be less than $500 for an EV cert (given that the 2-3 year certs will be a thing of the past at the end of February). Then with Azure, I think for use of the Premier Key Vault we paid less than $3 for a months worth of calls for doing our signing. I figure we can do between 200,000 - 500,000 code sign runs in a year so the cost didn't seem like a lot. I didn't price out the Trusted Signing completely to know.

Thank you so much for sharing that!

Please correct me if I am wrong, but this seems like the pricing is actually better with the cloud alternatives?

When you say pricing is better with the cloud alternative, are you referring to our use of the Azure Key Vault instead of Trusted Signing? If so, then I'd say yes given the Key Vault costs $0.03 for every 10,000 operations. I saw Trusted Signing is a monthly charge with a limit on the number of operations based on the service chosen.

We are still trying to understand fully what is our best option going forward given things keep changing.
