Self-Installing EXE file is not a valid Win32 application?

Postby mqk » Tue Jan 30, 2007 4:47 am

Hi all,

I tried to build a main EXE file containing the entire setup (i.e. Compressed) by choosing Build Type: "Compressed Single Self-Installing EXE", I got an error message saying:

"setup.exe is not a Valid Win32 application"

But when Build Type is: "Uncompressed Directory Layout", no error message occurs!!!!

It's worth mentioning, error message occurs when an Icon is added to the Installer, otherwise it works perfectly fine

Any help?
Thanks in advance,

Yes, this means something is "not good" about the icon you chose. Try to pick a different icon and that should work.
