problems with version 6.4

hello all

I am having problems with the new version 6.4

I am using
Convert to Long Path: SERVER_SETTINGS_FILE_DIR

If SERVER_SETTINGS_FILE_DIR = d:\\aa\\, blank is returned. In the previous version d:\\aa was returned

I sent this issue to support@installware last week and received no response - VERY dissapointing

Did you try to remove the last \\ ?

removing the trailing \\ makes no difference

Hi Ross,

Hmm - can I ask how many e-mails you have sent support last week? If you have sent more than one and they are going missing, then I'm wondering if your e-mail server is on a blacklist or something and they are being rejected by our spam filtering.

Anyway, as you have found it, it is usually best to post on the forum as well as sending a support e-mail -- sometimes you can even find the solution to your problem immediatly just by searching.

Anyway, back to your question:

Can you please submit your scripts? Either upload them somewhere, or e-mail them directly to me and I will investigate your issue. My e-mail address is andyn at installaware dot com.
