Duplicating a IA project

Postby devdept » Sat Mar 31, 2007 11:19 am

Hi IA Support,

How can I duplicate a complete IA project?

I have 2 versions of my program (standard & pro) with only a few differences and don't want to setup a second installer project that is at the 80% the same of the first...

Thanks,

Alberto

You can actually use Compiler Variables, so you don't even need to duplicate anything! With Compiler Variables, you'll just maintain a single setup, while building it as separate installers.

Of course, if you want to duplicate your project anyways, you can. Just copy the project folder!

Thanks Michael,

We use the IA Standard Edition, I don't think that compiler variables are present on this edition...

So we duplicate the project folder and change the name of the project file?

Thanks again,

Alberto
