Installing service (on Vista)

Hello,

I'm using InstallAware Studio v6.24 and I'm having problems installing system services on Vista.

The installer runs "elevated" so I assume it's not a permission problem. But when the installer reaches the "installing service..." phase it takes forever and never goes beyond that point.

The service itself does not have problems, I can install it from an elevated commandline by typing "myservice.exe /install".

The installer has no problems on 2000 and XP. It only has such problems on Vista. Any advice?

Maybe you can provide a link to your setup, so we can try and find out what happens on Vista?
