Updates ask for orginal setup source and then hangs

When checking for updates (from a start menu option installed by the orginal setup.exe), IA correctly says that updates are available, then downloads the selected update and asks which to install. It starts starts the install process, but then asks " Please locate your orginal setup source to continue the operation" It does not seem to like any of the folders pointed to (the dialog just keeps reappearing). Selecting "Cancel" ends the installation (except that the Installing updates dialog remains and can't be closed without rebooting.

What sort of build are you using (Uncompressed, Compressed, Web?)?

Compressed, I'm sure I must have set something up incorrectly. the mpr file is attached.
