Saving as new project, big problem :(

Hello,

I have created an installer, and translated the forms into danish, and we have 2 similar programs, so i wanted to reuse the installer for the second program, so i chose "save project as" in a new folder and with a new name of course. Now everytime i alter for instance the target folder, or which files are to be installed, it overrides BOTH projects... meaning that if i open anyone of the projects, i can alter settings in both at the same time, which is of course not very desired. This doesnt happen for all the settings, for instance product code is saved individually.
Why is this happening, and what can i do to avoid it... the first installer is now unusable, cause it has a lot of settings, and the files of the second one

thank you, do you plan on a "fix" so that it is posible to save all of the project including script files with "save as" at some point maybe ?

Hi Simon,

There is no planned "fix" as such as this is designed behaviour.

I think what might suit you better would be a function that allowed exporting or cloning of your setup project.
