SQL Server Express 2005 sp2. installaware 6.5 error

With the new release of 6.5 i get the following error :

SQL Server Express 2005 could not be installed. Please use the Windows Update to manually install this update on your system.

can anyone tell me how to solve this.

Check your plugin settings and make sure they are ok please.
If they are, please repost your problem.

found but not solved

the problem excist that the required .net 2.0 not be installed before SQL Express 2005 should be installed, i't checked in the install requirements but it's not working.

So any error messages or other steps to help understand why .NET 2.0 is not installing?
