Web Updates On Startup

Is there any way to have my application check for web updates on the application startup and if it finds them install the updates.

There is an alternate script on this forum (check the Scripts or Plug-Ins sections) which lets you directly run the setup engine (without using scheduled tasks), so you can call the setup engine from your application to perform the check as necessary.
