Starting IA on Vista

Postby uranus » Mon May 21, 2007 4:33 am

Hi,

I use IA 6.6 Studio on Vista Ultimate. Whenever I start IA I get a message with a text like

An unidentified program wants to access the computer.
miae.exe
Unknown distributor

The original massage is in German. I hope I am not "lost in translation".
How can I stop this annoying messages.

TIA

Lost in Translation, that was a good movie :)

You can disable UAC if you want to stop this annoying message. InstallAware needs admin access to the machine, and Vista will always prompt you accordingly. No way to work around it.

Thanks for your answer Micheal.

It seems I have to acceptp it then. UAC is the most valuable advantage of Vista in my opinion.
