I am using IA 6.6 Express (Build berlin_rtm.052207) on WinXP SP2.
I've built my version 1.1.0.195 setup.exe, enabled "Receive Application Updates", verified the Monitor URL, added the version to the Versions node (No update packs available), made the shortcut for checking for updates using the $UNINSTALLLINK$ variable and added /update to the command line, uploaded the updates.ini file to the web server, verified the updates.ini presence and access, and added the .ini as a mime type for the server.
Following the installation of the version 1.1.0.195 setup.exe, when I check for updates, the version 1.1.0.195 setup exe is located and called successfully and it connects to the server at the Monitor URL (Norton prompts me to allow it) but then nothing else happens, even if I disable my firewall and other protections.
The content of the updates.ini file is:
[Update Packs for Versions]
1.1.0.195=
If I change the updates.ini file to read...
[Update Packs for Versions]
1.1.0.195="You have the most currentl release."
...when I check for updates, I receive a ballon notification that updates are available and this item is listed as an available update. So we know we are connecting to the server and that AI can see the updates.ini.
Under the original format of the updates.ini file, why am I not receiving an update dialog telling me that I am up-to-date?
Thanks.

As an update to the previous post, the updater successfully identified and downloaded, and installed update version 1.1.0.196 setup.exe. But when I check for updates for this version, I get no dialog response, just as with the first version. The contents of the updates.ini file are:
[Update Packs for Versions]
1.1.0.195=MyProgram 110196
1.1.0.196=
[MyProgram 110196]
URL=http://www.mywebsite.com/downloads/myprogram 110196 setup.exe
Description=update from 110195 to 110196
Reboot=No
Silent=No
Parameters=
Any ideas why no "you have the current release" dialog is showing?
