Hi
I am about to evaluate Install aware.
So i created a new project outside visual studio. Now i want to integrate this project into visual studio to be able to edit the basic settings from there and furthermore also automate the buildprocess.
Despite the GUI and integration in Visual studio seems to be very poor (regarding functionality), i could not find a way to integrate the existing project.
Until now i do work with InstallshieldLE. This has a very limited set of functionality compared to installaware, but the studio integration seems to be much more intuitive.

Re: Import existing project into Visual Studio
Dear Jean,
you need to replicate the directory structure the IA Visual Studio Add-in uses to handle the project.
So if your Visual Studio project is located under the path "C:\MyVSProject", the IA project has to be located as; "C:\MyVSProject\InstallAware".
In addition both project names have to be identical.
Hope this helps you.
