I am running Xpress and I want to copy a third part folder during runtime to a temporary install location and then
run its install - -this should be pretty simple but I have searched high and low in help and cannot figure out how to do
to it.
Under Advanced Options I can specify run program, and I can browse to the install folders but I only see these options:
I am unable to find anyway to copy files/directories to the Support dir in Xpress. I found with help where to enter
the EULA and license info, but how do I install 3rd party runtime files?
Thank you
Target Folders:
$COMMONFILE$
$DESKTOPDIR$
$PROGTRAMFILES$
$QUICKLAUNCHDIR$
$SHORTCUTFILES$
$SHORTCUTFILESALL$
$TARGETDIR$
$WINDIR$
$WINSYSDIR$
$WWWROOTDIR$

Re: Xpress Support dir custom programs
I suppose you are referring to the Express Edition.
You can easily add your support files from the "Creatives Page".
However, you cannot add a folder to support files location. This only allows to add single files.
Alternatively, I would have suggested you to use the File Bag command. Unfortunately, script code isn't available with the express edition.
Hope this helps you.

Yes, the Developer Edition includes MSI-Code scripting capability.
