Same for me

---------------------------
miae.exe - Bad Image
---------------------------
...\InstallAware\InstallAware X13\mext.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I've downloaded the single file installer twice. They were identical. Therefore I expect that it is not a transfer problem.
Only the Dez. 23rd build (30.01.00.2021) is affected.

best regards,
Stefan

Me too. If this is indeed a problem, I can not believe there has not been a response since originally reported, a few days ago.
I just downloaded (full download) from the x13 IA download page, successfully ran the installation, tried to execute from all newly created links, and the exe itself, and instead of successfully launching, getting this "maie.exe corrupt" message, just be for the app exits.
Am I missing something?

Please try with downloading once again the package, the issue should be fixed now.

Please accept our apologies.

Francesco,
Thank you for the quick response and follow-up.
Currently, I have the smaller Web install x13 installed and successfully running on my production system so I do not want to mess with the install.
However, it sounds like you have identified and resolved the problem. The next time I do install, I will use the full runtime version and let you know.
Thanks again.

Hi Francesco,

great, yes it works, after uninstalling and reinstalling. (Repair is not sufficient, obviously).

One wish I would have. Could you provide a MD5 Hash next to the download link, so that it is possible to verify the integrity of the download with e.g.

CertUtil -hashfile <path to file> MD5

Thank you very much in advance.

best regards,
Stefan

Thank you, Francesco,

the new single file setup installed correctly.
Can you tell what happened?

A corruption during download seems unlikely. The setup file itself would have thrown an error message but it run through as it always does. Therefore I think even an md5 hadn't been useful in this case.

Nonetheless, I support Stefan's idea of providing an md5 with the download file.
Best regards
