I use install files with wildcards, 'Include subfolders...' is checked, other options are unchecked:
~InstallAware Clipboard Data~
~Install Files~
~{76E6CE83-A766-4E73-8F31-A6340FCACAF5}~
~L:\PROJEKTE\DasyLab\Treiber HBM\HBM Common API 6.2\API\*.*~
~TRUE|~
~$EXEFILEDIR$~
~FALSE~
~FALSE~
~FALSE~
~FALSE~
~FALSE~
~FALSE~
~FALSE~

~FALSE~
In my source directory there are 56 files.
Only 41 of them are copied to the destination directory.
Some of the 15 missing files are DLLs. Other DLLs from the directory are copier as expected.
I am using Installaware X15 Admin

Re: install files with wildcards
Dear Alejandro,
the command looks correct and I cannot replicate any issue.
What you are reporting may depend on your setup script flow and not directly related to the command itself.
At any rate, I'm not sure why you are installing something into the $EXEFILEDIR$. This directory may not exist anymore once the setup has completed.
If you need to store and use files which are only required during setup execution, I highly recommend you the use of "FileBag" or "$SUPPORTDIR$".
