Hi,
we create setups for our customer with InstallAware X14 with Aero theme; on Windows 11 he noticed unwanted transparency effects which we could fix), and an unwanted old classic Windows 7 window style (with the blue title bar, classic colored minimize, maximize, close buttons).
How to fix this?
kind regards
Anja

Could you please provide screenshots to help us better understand the issue you are running into?
Also, please cross-check your results against the latest version of our Aero Dialogs Sampler using the "Sample the dialogs in this theme" link found at https://www.installaware.com/user-inter ... themes.htm.
If that produces different results, you may want to upgrade to the latest InstallAware version, and/or update the dialogs in your theme with the versions of the dialogs found in the latest version of the Aero theme.

Hi,
here are the screenshots:
left is a a new X14 dialog without fixing the transparency, right is your Aero Sampler.
This is a screenshot with removed aero glass element at top left in the dialog editor test
and this is the same during a running setup.
Do I understand your answer correctly, that the dialogs from the latest version will work with the X14 and be correctly compiled into the setup?
Where can I find these?
kind regards
Anja

Ah, that helps a lot! Thank you very much for providing those screenshots,
I believe the issue you're seeing is a bug that's been fixed in newer versions of InstallAware.
You wouldn't even need to swap out your dialogs - just upgrade to the latest version, and recompile.
