During an install the PROGRESSTEXT is changed automatically to reflect what the installer is doing. For example, it lists each file name as its installing them.
At one point of the install process, this text lists each feature (by GUID) for my setup. In my setup, I have a lot of these GUIDs. I am wondering if it possible to override these messages to show something different.
Basically, I don't see any need to show these GUIDs at all. They are not helpful to me, and they are not helpful to my users. I realize this is just a user experience issue, but isn't that what installers are supposed to be all about?
If we can't do anything about it now, can I at least get this submitted as a request for a future version of InstallAware? Thanks!

These are all messages coming from Windows Installer. They cannot be modified.
What you may do is replace the progress text control with a generic control that displays a generic installation message using the dialog editor, of course.
