Customer issue with Vista install

Postby mittelhauser » Thu Sep 07, 2006 11:18 am

I have a customer who reported:

--
Running Vista Pre-RC1 Build 5536
Had the following errors.
in a box titled: Poker DaVinci - InstallAware Wizard

Runtime error in setup script:
Line 25: '.' is not a valid integer value
--

Line 25 is "Get System Setting Windows 2000 into CHECKSYSTEM". Any ideas?

This has been fixed in the latest InstallAware version.

Hi Michael,

I experienced the same message on Windows Vista. I am using 6.01 (SP1). In which build of IA has this been fixed?

Thanks
Andrej.

6.03, if you are a registered user, just regenerate and download the license file and it will upgrade it.

Great, thank you for a quick answer.

Is there a list of other fixed issues available for the build 6.03?

I believe this was fixed in 6.02. 6.02-6.05 have seen very minor tweaks overall, nothing major that I am aware of. A new Evaluate Expression command is available, and expanded options for existing Web Media Block commands (individual passwords, and multiple fail-safe URLs).

To be honest, i wasn't sure if it was 6.02 or 6.03, as i've installed 6.03 and tested it, thus my reply for 6.03.. Pardon my mistake! :)

Ok. I know that I have done this before but for the life of me, I can't figure out any way to login on http://www.InstallAware.com . How do I login and generate my license file?

Please follow the instructions in your license confirmation email. Please email us or send private messages - do not discuss licensing details in this public forum. Thank you!
