setting PATH variable does not work

here's the command i'm running:

~InstallAWARE Clipboard Data~
~Set Environment~
~{EEA0BCFA-5AB4-437E-976A-AF49ECEB2BBC}~
~PATH~
~$ACUMENCEHOME$\\$VERSIONXX$\\plantserver\\sls~
~0~
~0~
~TRUE~
~FALSE~


it does absolutely nothing.

ok i've tried running every permutation of the call that i can. did not work

i've tried calling the SetEnvironmentVariable function in kernel32.dll and that did not work either.

what is going on?!

never mind. i finally realized that set environment variable was purple...
