Generate Product Code via web automation?

We haven't started to use web automation yet but that is a requirement we're going to hit shortly. Can anyone share with me how I could read in an existing project file and use the ASP web automation object to generate a new Product Code GUID?

Is there documentation somewhere that lists all the available ASP scripting object properties? The only ASP example script I saw created an install script from scratch, whereas what we want to do is modify an existing one.
