What's new for new releases

Hi,

I've purchased and install version 6.4 .
I saw you have released version 6.42 .

My questions:
1. How can I know what's new with the new release or what's the product history? I know I can find this out after I download and install the new version, but I want to know if any of the new changes will help me and should I even bother downloading and installing the new version.

2. Let's say I have decided to update the new version. what will be the fastest way? Should I uninstall and re-install all over again, or is there some quick update method?
