A recent post talked about using version control systems, which I too would like to do at some point. But a common need in version control is to be able to identify exactly what has changed, so this requires a diff tool to be able to be used. Is there a way to export an IA script to a text format for diff purposes?

At present there is no support for this, however, if we get enough people requesting it we will probably add it.

However, as the script files are text based (but in a specific custom syntax / format), you can (sort of) already perform a diff on them.
