Wrong Version of ASP.NET in Default Web Site

Postby DavidCassere » Thu May 17, 2007 8:33 am

2003 Server IIS 6.
I have created a new virtual directory in the default Web Site in a new apllication pool and stated required version as asp.net 2.0. The application pool states correctly that that it is ASP.NET 2 but the entry in the default directory says 1.1. Until I change the entry in the default Web site it doesn't run?.

Maybe you need to use a Create Virtual Folder command for the root directory of the website also? Just leave the "Virtual Path" field empty, as the dialog hint indicates.
