Driver installation problem

Hello!

I have tried to add a driver installation in IA6 under "Advanced Options" -> "Drivers".

I have added all the needed files to the filelist in a subfolder to the TARGETDIR.

I added the .INF file and it reported no problems, i checked "install even if driver is not better match for hardware" and "allow installing unsigned drivers" and did not check the "install driver only if device is present" option and selected the x86 platform.

But when i install the program and afterwards tries to plug in the usb device, it doesnt find the driver ?

I know the driver is working cause i tried just pointing to the inf file in the windows driver installation guide, and the deviced worked perfectly after that. But we would rather that costumers wouldnt have to do that.

What am i doing wrong ?

Hello again,

I am now using the windows driver installation framework, to place the driver in the driver cache, which works fine, but it still pops up asking for the installation first time the usb device is plugged in, is there a way around this ?

How do you do that?
We still cant install drivers the regular DifX way in installaware?

for us its the same way, the driver works just fine if we install it manually in windows.
