Postby bob_pga » Wed Sep 19, 2007 6:27 am

Hi!!

At first, i´m very sorry for my very poor english. My problem is:

- How can i do an MSI with different passwd?, for example i want to do office in msi on unattended installation, the msi is the same for all users, but the passwd is not the same for all, how can i do this? I need a passwd database? how can i connect the passwd database with installaware?

Thanks for help!!

Hi,

Please explain a little more.. Do you want to create an MSI that has different passwords and according to the passwords, install different files?

You want an msi that has password authentication just to allow people to install your software ?

Give us some more info to help you out.

thanks for answer me.

in my case i want to do one msi file for all host, i use the same MSI for all. The MSI i use require the user puts a passwd (every user one passwd). I need know if i could create a data base with passwd list and then i could comunicate installaware with this passwd list).

After from my unattended server i could do that every user has his passwd owner with the same MSI.

If the solution the passd list is not correct, how can i do this?
