Where do you set the path in the scheduled Task? When I look at the task in Task Manager (Vista), I see the Actions tab, and the Action is "Start a Program", the details are blank in one project and were wrong in another. When I manually changed the path, the updater works, but I need to know where that setting is in IA to make sure I set it properly.
I am creating one installation package for the application itself and another installation package to update the data in that application.
My goal is to install the application first, then preconfigure a scheduled task to update from the web using the update function.
Again, thanks for the help!
Path in scheduled task not correct or not there

When you create a scheduled task, you see two tabs in the dialog, "Schedule" and "Task". In the task tab you can find the run program field, and working directory, you can set that up for your desired application.

are two scheduled tasks created?
I saw that field, and when I inserted a path, in the scheduled task that was created with the name I specified, no path was passed to the details of the action "Start a Program" in the Actions tab of the task (it was blank).
In addition, another task seems to have been created using the project name, ("Scheduler") - I think after next login and set up of the update routine. I'd like to preconfigure this routine so the end users don't see it, and don't have an option to change the configuration from my predefined "install" option - Can I? If so, how?
The path there was "C:\\Windows\\Installer\\Scheduler Updates for All Users.lnk", which has either no effect that I can tell, or at least not the desired effect of running the update application I want. Is there a default folder where I should be storing my update appliaction? In the Project Properties, under the "Monitor URL" I enter the path where I am storing the update application, and was thinking that this would be the path that was passed to the task, but I must be wrong. I couldn't find where to define it in the IA interface. THank you for the help!

Bob,
Al you are asking about is located at the updated script. Take a look at it, and play a little bit with it. You'll see that if you modify it you can achieve what you want to do.
