Localization: Initialization Text in compressed EXE

Postby asp » Fri Dec 14, 2007 4:37 am

Hi! When deploying the project as compressed self-extracting EXE, dialog with message 'The InstallAware Wizard is verifying the contents of this setup package. This may take a moment.' is showing twice. And, even if you translate the corresponding message (Tools/Edit Global Strings/ Initialization Text), when this dialog will be shown at first time, the text will be in English. Could it be fixed?

The problem is in your language files in IAFOLDER\\Trans. Check your translation.English and translation.Original files.

I checked these files. All seems to be OK, the files are present and contains proper translation (translation.English and translation.Russian). I guess, that it could happen because I have English version of Windows, but with Russian regional settings (thus default input language - English). Installation project has Russian as default language, language selection dialog is not showing. Setup program seems not to examine the language from project and take the default Windows language when show the dialog at first time.
