InStallAware Wizard takes FOREVER to start HELP!!! HELP!!!

My customers are not connect to the internet, therefore my install must include everything they need to upgrade teir comeputer to where it needs to be for my software to run. Because of this my install is about 1 GB in size. I am putting it on a DVD so the installer I use is uncompressed files. If a customer has no service packs or updates I may have to reboot them up to 5 times getting all the Microsoft updates in.

My problem is when the installer starts the Installaware wizard sets there for 7 minutes preparing the installer before it starts my install. If a machine is totally ot of date and has to be rebooted five times that means that Installaware is preparing to install for a toatl of 35 minutes, not counting the actual install.

HELP!!! HELP!!!! HELP!!!

What can I do. Seven minutes to perpare the installer is totally unusable.
