Command Line Utility throwing display notice

Postby FinlandRobert » Thu Jan 24, 2008 8:39 am

I have purchased Installaware Studio Admin, and added the license to the installation. I have created installations and deployed them successfully, but when running a Command Line Build Utility, the "commercial" message window appears (the one that says the licensed version does not display the message).

Did I miss something?

Thank you for the help!

Bob

Make sure you correctly ran your license file. Your license file completely transforms the trial version into the full version.

license works on GUI, not command line

Postby FinlandRobert » Tue Jan 29, 2008 3:22 am

I am very sure that I double clicked on the .exe properly to run it. As the GUI interface does not pop up the notice, I don't believe there is anything else I can do to implement the license for the command line portion of Installaware, is there? I'm thinking that the GUI just fires the command line anyway, but may be wrong.

Will attempting to run the license file on the same machine again cause any bad things to happen?

May be your license setup exe is corrupted.
Try to login and generate again.

I have the similar experience before.

The license setup exe should bring you a InstallAware dialog. Press Next few times and try again.
