We're hitting the 260 character limit of windows because of some pretty verbose names in the path for the .net 3.5 framework runtime.
Is there anything we can do to tame down the directory named "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (with .NET 2.0 SP1 and .NET 3.0 SP1)"?
I know I can use a Single Exe setup, but that is not what we want.
e.g.
c:\\d\\Binaries\\Installations\\ProductX\\Release\\Uncompressed\\data\\Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (with .NET 2.0 SP1 and .NET 3.0 SP1)\\mFileBagIDE.dll\\bag\\dotNetFX20\\NetFX_Core.msp
260 character limit from Microsoft .net 3.5 runtime
Re: 260 character limit from Microsoft .net 3.5 runtime
4.5 is even longer, I think there is 14 characters left between D:\ and Release

I would recommend you to use the Long Path Tool. It should sort out your problem.
