SQL Server Connection sample problem

When I run the SQL Server Connection sample in my conputer .It can select Microsoft SQL Server Instance from the computer.But when I choose the right Instance name and windows authentication to continue ,it always show connection failed .But when I take this sample to another computer to run ,it can't select instance name from the computer ,then I input the right instance name and windows authentication to continue ,it shows connection connection test was successful.Who can tell me the reason.And do anybody have Chinese tutorial to learn InstallAware?My English is not very good,please help me. Thanks.
