Hi,
I need Runtimes for Microsoft C/C++ Runtime Library 7.1 and ATL/MFC 7.1.
I cannot find a download for this. In InstallShield there were MergeModules available which install the needed dlls.
How do I solve the problem or how did others already solved this problem?
Thanks,
Alex

Do you require:
2005
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/d ... 0b62a191ee
or 2008:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/d ... laylang=en
If you need this right away, you can add them yourself. Just follow the "Extending the Application Runtimes View" whitepaper:

Re: Runtimes for C/C++ 7.1
After my request:
After IA10 launch:
Mmh, sometimes I do not understand IA. And I think it is not a problem of the different language.
I'll give the dev team a nudge and get this added to our next refresh!

Yes, I apologize for the failed promise. That shouldn't have been made.
Regardless, I'm trying to figure out what exactly you need, so we can implement it in the future.

Re: Runtimes for C/C++ 7.1
apology accepted. I for my part don't need the Runtime anymore because we switched to C++ 8.0.
In the past I used merge modules for v7 instead of Runtime installation. But there IA still has the problem with cache setup sources, I think: http://forums.installaware.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5261

Dear jnadal,
In that case, I would suggest creating them using the following tutorial:
