InstallAware + Merge Modules

Hi,

I'm new too InstallAware and Installers in general and I am a little helpless now.
Our Software uses a dongle protection and therefore requires a special runtime. We have 2 msm files containing general components, 2 msm files containing x86 components and 2 msm files containing x64 components of the runtime. On x64 systems we must install the x64 runtime, otherwise the x86 runtime. What I have read on this board, there is no way to control the execution of merge modules.
As suggested in a different thread I have tried to convert the msm files to msi using msm2msi, but this tool fails with an error 1627 on one of the msm files.

How would you recommend to solve this the "InstallAware way"?

I'd use the Database Import Wizard to convert the MSMs

Unfortunately I have only a IA Studio license, hence the Database Import Wizard is not available. Any other ideas?

if you only need to do it once you could download the trial version and do the conversion with that, then you can use it in the studio version.
