Could you add an Edit XML File command to the next version?

What kinds of XML commands would you like to see?

There is no XML plugin at the moment, but developing one ought to be fairly easy.

Our applications use .NET .config files.

Usually we need to write a path or servername to it.

I would like it to work like the registry commands. You specify the path to the xml file, the xml path and what values/attributes to create/modify/delete.

Could you possibly draw some mockup screens for the XML command window and pass them over?

Is there a new feature for xml edit in InstallAware X?

We're trying to pack as many features into IA X as possible for a timely release. We can't say for sure if an XML edit command will make it into the release, but IA X will be overhauled with a new back-end that should make it easier for us to expand new feature support in the future.
