Admin rights problem

Hi,

Our product using Installaware is now going out to our 3000 users and in most cases is working very smoothly.

We do have a few instances where the installer reports

"a fatal error has occurred please check your settings".

I am still checking this out but it appears to be related to users not having admin rights on their local PC. I appreciate I can get round this but the error message seems a little unhelpful.

You can run with logging - that will reveal a lot more information.

Admin rights are not required for setups as long as the sysadmin allows
elevated privileges to be used.

And even without admin rights and elevated privileges, setups should work as long as they do not try to write to protected system locations.
